E Visa Processing Time

The processing time of the E-Visa is usually between 2 working days.

E Visa Documents Checklist

Taiwan E-visa validity will be 03 months & 14 days stay
To be eligible for an ROC Travel Authorization Certificate, the following three basic requirements must be met:

  • Colored Copy of Passport First Page & Last Page
  • Confirmed Return Airline Tickets with E-Ticket Number in PDF format only
  • Confirmed Booking of stay – Hotel Voucher on Travel Agents letter head in PDF format only
  • The applicant possesses at least one of the following documents issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, any of the Schengen countries, United Kingdom, or United States:

    o Valid resident or permanent resident card
    o Valid entry visa (may be electronic visa)
    o Resident card or visa that has expired less than 10 years prior to the date of arrival in Taiwan

During the application, you may also be required to provide additional documents like birth certificate for minors. In case you need to provide additional documents, you need to do it within 24 hours of intimation from Consular.

Overall Process - At the Airport

As soon as you arrive in Taiwan with the pre-approved E-Visa, follow the steps mentioned below:

Go to the immigration area and enter the dedicated E-Visa lane
Present your passport to the officer
Get the final immigration approval and enter Taiwan
