Dharamshala Dalhousie Amritsar

Arrive at Amritsar airport and proceed to Dharamshala – formerly known as Bhagsu one of the spiritual dwelling in Himachal Pradesh. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Dharamshala.

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Dharamshala –  a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Futher visit to Hindu temple dedicated to Bhagsu Nag, the snake god, and to Lord Shiva. The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India” peaaceful temple for sightseeing and meditation. Overnight At Dharamshala.

After breakfast drive to Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of Places which includes, His holiness Dalai lama residence at Mcleodgunj, War memorial, Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake. Reach Dalhousie in the evening. Evening is free for leisure or you can have a walk through small town of Dalhousie. Overnight At Dalhousie.

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Dalhousie – named after the British Governor – General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipullu, Subhash Baoli and excursion to Khajjiar surrounded by thick Deodar forest 24 Kms from Dalhousie popularly known as “Mini Switzerland” of India , enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding etc. at your own. We visit the Ajith Singh Smarak and Satadhara Sparkling Springs. Overnight at Dalhousie. 

After breakfast drive to Amritsar. Arrive Amritsar and check in at hotel. Late afternoon proceed to Wagah border to experience the Indo-Pakistan parade and lowering of the flag ceremony. Overnight at Amritsar.

After breakfast visit Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of Sikh religion, Mata Mandir and Durgiana Temple. Later enjoy shopping at local market. In the evening visit Jallianwala Bagh – noted for the most infamous massacre under British Raj. Visit Gobindgarh fort Enjoy Light & sound show. Overnight at Amritsar.

After breakfast proceed to the airport for your flight back to home bound. It’s time to say good bye to everyone except your memories. We hope you are fulfilled with lots of happy memories.
