Coastal Karnataka

Upon arrival at Kumta railway station / Manglore Airport, we will proceed to Hotel. After resting for a while, we will visit Banvasi (22 km) an ancient capital of Karnataka which is also considered as Dakshin Kashi in the evening. Here we will see Madhukeshwara Temple. Dinner and night stay at Sirsi.

After breakfast, we will visit Gerosoppa Falls (Jog Falls) which is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. Lunch at the resort. Evening visit to Marikamba Temple followed by shopping at Sirsi.

After breakfast, we will proceed to Yana which has huge structures of Bhasma these are unusual rock formations. It is also known for being a holy place of Lord Shiva and is still untouched by regular tourists. (Yana is possible only after monsoon). We will visit Sahastralinga (10 km) in the evening. This place is surrounded by a lush green forest and has 1000 Shivlingas carved in the river bed. Dinner and night stay at Sirsi.

After breakfast visit to Unchelli Fall, one of the biggest tourist attractions near Sirsi. The waterfall has a 116-meter drop and offers spectacular views at all times of the year. Lunch at the resort. Evening free time for relaxation. (Unchelli Fall is possible after October)

In the morning after breakfast descend to Murdeshwar. On the way, there will be a stop at Gokarna Mahabaleshwar, from where we will proceed to Honnavar. After lunch, boating can be leisurely enjoyed on the Sharavati river. After boating we shall be visiting Idgunjee Ganapati Temple, which just 13 kms away from Murudeshwar. Murdeshwar which is considered the Kannyakumari of Karnataka. The famous huge idol is what we would when we first arrive to the hotel by the sea.

After breakfast we will visit Mahaganpati and Mahamaya Temple at Shirali as well as Chitrapur Saraswat Math. After lunch, we shall be visiting baindoor sunset viewpoint (35 kms) and evening can be enjoyed on the Someshwar beach before we head back to the hotel in Murdeshwar.

Morning free time at Murudeshwar beach. After breakfast visit the Murdeshwar temple, the famous Gopura and the adjacent areas around the temple. Rest of the day for Leisure. Or shopping at own

Proceed to the airport for your flight back to home bound. It’s time to say good bye to everyone except your memories. We hope you are fulfilled with lots of happy memories.
