Gujarat, India’s westernmost state, has varied terrain and numerous sacred sites. In its urban center of Ahmedabad is the Calico Museum of Textiles, displaying antique and modern Indian fabrics. Spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi’s base from 1917–1930 was Sabarmati Ashram, where his living quarters remain on view. Day 1 Arrive in Ahmedabad and Local Sightseeing

Arrival in Ahmedabad. Check into the hotel and after freshen up and visit Sabarmati Ashram – an important place in Indian Independence History, Adalaj Stepwell known for its intricate carvings and Indo-Islamic Architecture and Swaminarayan Akshardham. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 Ahmedabad – Patan – Modhera – Ahmedabad

Today morning, proceed towards Patan (120 kms/2 hours) to visit the World Heritage Site of Rani Ki Vav, a seven storeyed Stepwell with more than 500 beautiful God Sculptors. Visit Patola House in Patan to meet artisans of Patola Sarees – an art practised by only a handful people around world. Thereby, Visit Modhera Sun Temple and witness the architectural efficiency of the medieval era. Return back to Ahmedabad. Overnight at Hotel

Day 3Ahmedabad – Statue Of Unity – Vadodara

Today morning, check out and proceed towards SOU (200 kms/4 hours). Visit the Statue of Unity – tallest statue of the world dedicated to Sardar Patel – The Iron Man of India. Visit Sardar Sarovar Dam – a modern marvel in itself and Valley of Flowers and then proceed towards Vadodara. Overnight at Hotel

Day 4Vadodara – Stambheshwar Mahadev – Bhavnagar

Today morning, check out and proceed towards Stambheshwar Mahadev (80 kms/ 2 Hours). Visit this wonderful Shiva temple in the sea which is open only during Low Tides. After Darshan, proceed towards Bhavnagar (250 kms/6 Hours). Reach Bhavnagar. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5Bhavnagar – Koliyak – Gir

Today morning, check out and visit Koliyak Mahadev. The Shivlingas are said to be established by the Pandavas as per the Mahabharata and are only visited during Low Tides. After Darshan, proceed towards Gir(270kms / 6 Hours). Reach Gir – the only abode for the Asiatic Lion in Asia and relax at the resort. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Gir – Somnath

Today morning, go for Gir Jungle Trail (as per availability). After Safari, check out and proceed towards Somnath (50 kms/1 hour). Reach Somnath and visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam. Pandav Caves and Somnath Mahadev Temple considered to be the first of the 12 Jyortirlingas for Evening Arti. Overnight at Hotel

Day 7 Somnath – Porbandar –Dwarka

Today morning, check out and proceed towards Dwarka (250kms/5 hours). Visit Kirti Mandir – the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama Temple – the temple dedicated to Sudama; a very close friend of Lord Krishna in Porbandar on the way. Reach Dwarka and visit Dwarkadhish Temple and Gomit Ghat.

Day 8Dwarka – Bet Dwarka - Chotila

Today morning, check out and visit Rukmani Temple which is dedicated to the wife of Lord Krishna, Nageshwar Jyortirling – one of the 12 Jyortirlingas and Bet Dwarka. Proceed towards Chotila (300 kms/6 Hours). Overnight at Hotel

Day 9Chotila – Ahmedabad

Today morning, check out and visit Chotila Temple – temple dedicated to Goddess Chamunda on the hilltop. After Darshan, proceed towards Ahmedabad (170 kms/3 Hours). Visit Kankariya Lake in the evening. Overnight at Hotel

Day 10 Depart With Cherishing Memories
